2005 Miles for Melanoma Run/Walk

During May, Melanoma Month, CCMAC held their annual “Steps to Stop Skin Cancer, Miles for Melanoma Walk” at Eisenhower Park, with 300 participating from Queens to the Hamptons. Thanks to our sponsors, Sperry Federal Credit Union, News Channel 12 Long Island, Mix 107.2 FM RAdio, Whole Foods of Manhasset, Joe Greblunas of Hillside Beverage, and our many supporters, Verizon employees who helped set up the event, worked the registration table, and walked, Legislator Gonsalves, and Yatauro, and a special thanks to Poet Nicole Hakimi for her writing and reading of a very inspiring poem to conclude the event. A special Thanks to them all for making the event such a huge success. Also supporting CCMAC’s walk, was Senator Michael Balboni, represented by Ms. Rose Walker.
